Our Story

Born and Built in the Lowcountry

Charleston Window Treatments started with two brothers and a simple idea: the Lowcountry deserved a window treatment company that combined premium, made-to-order products with the kind of honest, personal service you'd expect from a neighbor. Born and raised in Charleston, Strachan and Holloway Hagood set out to build exactly that.

What began as a local venture has grown into one of the most trusted names in the area, known for craftsmanship, fair pricing, and an experience that feels personal from the first consultation to the final install. As natives, the brothers understand the unique demands of coastal homes, and they bring that local knowledge to every project.

Today they lead a business rooted in quality and community, treating every home and business they work in with the same care they'd give their own. Their hands-on approach is a big part of why so many Charleston homeowners trust them with their windows.

Strachan Small Hagood
A Charleston native and 2017 Citadel graduate, Strachan brings his customer-first focus to every project, overseeing each one from the first consultation all the way through final installation. He takes pride in getting every detail right. Outside of work, he’s an avid hunter and fisherman, rarely without his bird dog by his side.

James Holloway Hagood
Born and raised in Charleston, Holloway is a Citadel graduate with a natural entrepreneurial streak. He brings sharp business sense and a commitment to personalized service to every client the company works with, making sure each homeowner feels looked after from start to finish.

We wouldn’t be Charleston Window Treatments without the four-legged members of our team. Aspen keeps deliveries on track, Gilly keeps morale high, and Slater handles fetch and finances, proof that, for us, family-owned means the whole family.
